A kiln opening

Made our way out to Pittsoboro, NC today for the second weekend of Mark Hewitt's kiln opening.  The pieces, as well as his property and the buildings on it are stunning and nearly have us convinced that we want to be full time potters.  We left with a set of tea cups, a spoon rest and the recipe for the best ginger lemonade that I have ever had!
