Summer in a cake

Made a Strawberry Cream Cake tonight for dinner with friends and let me humbly say, it was de-lish.  Far exceeded my expectations (and Jacobs, too...hmph).  I used this recipe for the whipped cream and this recipe for the cake and assembly instructions.  Got a little bit crazy in there for a minute so I had to improvise and frost the whole thing instead of going with the layered look that Martha suggests, but I think I like it better this way.  More "done". Really, it's a hard recipe to get wrong, but if I can offer one tip:  Whipped Cream Cheese.  Go with the whipped cream cheese.
